About Learning from the Wild
I'm Asha, a high school student with a passion for animals and a curiosity about the natural world that I seek to explore through writing and the sciences. My previous initiatives include Amity for Animals, through which I was able to vaccinate dozens of dogs in Goa from canine parvovirus, provide injured and amputee cows with prosthetic limbs, build a shelter for disabled and older dogs, and educate on the realities faced by stray animals across India. With Learning from the Wild, I hope to reflect upon human interactions with other species and the environment in order to inspire and initiate change for the better.
